initial sketch. sachiel is one of my favourite angels, and i wanted to draw something symbolic: the prog knife lodged in its core, with the classic cross emerging from its back.
base colours. started with a greyscale tonal base and used a gradient map (for the first time!) in order to saturate with hues to build upon.
